Anticco structural paste

Description

Surface preparation: The Anticco paste is intended for use on cement, cement-lime, gypsum boards and painted surfaces. The surface should be cleaned out of dirt, dust and degreased. It should be even, dry, sound and crack-free. Remove residues of paints, wallpapers and unstable plaster. Patch any spalling. Fresh cement plasters and cement-lime plasters must be seasoned for at least four weeks.

Instructions for use: Important! Before the proper job, a spot test is recommended. The manufacturer shall not be liable for any misuse of the product. Use products from the same batch for the entire surface. The job must be performed in steps of approx. 1 m². Join subsequent sections being decorated as “wet on wet”.

1. The prepared surface must be coated with the Primacol priming and protective agent (very absorptive surfaces) or Primacol Priming Agent (surfaces of lower adherence).
2. Mix the paste thoroughly to achieve a uniform consistency.
3. Apply the paste with a trowel with 1 to 3 mm thick layers and create the texture at the same time. Texture modelling must be performed as wet. The final surface texture and coverage depend on the type of the tool used, thickness of the layer applied, and the application method. If consistency of the paste is too thick, it can be diluted with a small amount of water (max 3%).
4. Once dried, paint the surface with an artist’s varnish or the Primacol Decorative stain dyed to the colour of your choice (if the paste is not dyed in mass).
5. Before the stain or artist’s varnish dries, wipe it with a damp sponge to highlight the effect of depth.
6. Once the product is applied, ventilate the rooms until the odour is gone. Remove the paste from the tools wash them in warm water.

Storage: Store in the original, tightly closed container within a temperature range of 5 °C to 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children. Protect from sunlight. Protect from frost.
