Royal Silk

Description

Substrate: For use on cement, cement-lime substrates, gypsum boards, and painted surfaces. The substrate should be cleaned of dirt and dust, degreased, even, dry, strong, and crack-free. Remove residues of paints, wallpaper, and unstable plaster. Patch any spalling. For freshly applied cement plaster and cement-lime plaster, they should be seasoned for at least 4 weeks.

Instructions for use: Important! Before the proper job, a spot test is recommended. The manufacturer shall not be liable for any misuse of the product. For the entire surface, use products from the same batch.

1. Paint the prepared surface with at least one layer of Primacol priming paint to be coloured with Colourant in a colour similar to Royal Silk.
2. Apply a layer of Royal Silk on a dry surface using a Venetian trowel. Perform this step within small areas and in various directions to cover the entire surface. Thickness of the applied layer should not exceed 1 mm.
3. When the decoration is drying, smooth the surface using a trowel and moving it in various directions. In this way, metallic reflections will be obtained.
4. If necessary, once dried (about 4 hours), apply another layer and proceed in the same way as for the first layer.
5. Once the product is applied, vent the room until the odour has gone.

Storage: Store the product in the original, tight container within a temperature range of 5°C to 25°C. Keep out of the reach of children. Protect from sunlight. Protect from frost. Full strength properties are attained after 28 days. The product does not require the person performing the job to have any particular skills in application of such materials.
